Simply- Brian.

Who is this guy?

If you haven’t had the pleasure, he’s definitely worth getting to know. A lover of many things, with just a few that include- Flowers, art, design, shoes and travel. But not necessarily in that order.

Primary designer Brian Coovert was raised in the rolling hills of southern Ohio where he fell in love with nature at an early age. He spent his childhood collecting flowers, leaves, rocks, branches and anything green. This turned into a life long passion and admiration for natures beauty.

Curiosity, and the need for adventure carried him to the south east coast and after toiling for sometime in the corporate world as a Visual Merchandising Director, Brian left that career to begin his apprenticeship in floral design at a small flower shop. Drawing from his skills as a visual merchandiser, and his love of nature, he quickly incorporated those skills in floral design.

While working in Charleston, SC, his designs were used in several international film releases, including Cold Mountain, The Notebook, The Legend of Bagger Vance, and For the Boys, and they have also been displayed in reception halls and hotel rooms of current and former United States presidents, actors and actresses and other dignitaries.

Returning to his native Ohio, Brian’s work gained recognition nationally for its meticulous designs and innovative sensibility. His exclusive designs and arrangements have been recognized nationally and published in leading publications such as “Architectural Digest,” “Martha Stewart Weddings,” “Southern Living,” “Traditional Home,” “Modern Bride,” and “Flowers World.”

In 2011, Brian attended the Araik Galastyan International Floral Design School in Moscow and in 2014 he finished his studies, and completed the European Masters Certification in Bruges and Paris. In 2017 Brian continued his education and completed his studies and acquired his Certified Floral Designer accreditation and in 2018 was inducted into The American Institute of
Floral Designers.

Inspired by nature, architecture, color, and interior design, Brian has developed a distinctive style—modern, natural, immediately recognizable and in harmony with the distinctive settings that house his works of art. His designs have been defined by pairing textural elements with delicate floral materials to create bold displays full of juxtapositions that enrich the eye of the beholder and reflect a thoughtful, intellectual approach and capture the Zeitgeist often before it can be titled as a
trend.
