The BLÜHEN Process

  1. Book Your Date: A non-refundable $500 deposit is required to secure your preferred installation date.

  2. Consultation: We’ll schedule a personalized consultation to discuss your vision. During this meeting, please have inspiration photos and be prepared to show us any existing decor you wish to incorporate. The more visuals, the better!

  3. Create a Budget: We will set a budget and sign a contract to ensure a seamless experience.

  4. Installation Day: Our team will arrive ready to transform your space. We'll handle all setup, light cleanup (sweeping/vacuuming with your tools), and proper disposal of boxes and trash. All you need to do is have your existing decor pulled out and ready for us in the designated rooms.

Services and Pricing

Installation Services

Our team's hourly rate for installations starts at $150/hour for one person and $80/hour for each additional person. Please note that rates may vary based on the installation date.

  • New Clients: There is a minimum project charge of $1,500 (labor only).

  • Design Fee: A design fee, starting at $250, will be applied to all new client projects. The fee varies based on the size and complexity of the installation.

Saturdays: A premium hourly charge applies to all Saturday installations: $300/hour for two people, plus $100/hour for each additional person.

Take-Down Services

When the season ends, our team can carefully dismantle and organize your decor. Take-down services are billed at the same hourly rate as installation. On average, take-down takes about half the time of installation. We can also provide storage bins, bags, and bubble wrap for a 30% surcharge on the cost of the materials.

Q: What if I don't have any existing decor? A: We offer three levels of service to fit your needs:

  • Client Decor Only: We work exclusively with the decorations you already own.

  • Partial Sourcing: We supplement your existing decor with newly sourced items to complete your vision.

  • Full Service: We provide all new decor, including trees, garlands, and ornaments, for a completely fresh look.

Q: What are the average costs for decor? A: The total cost for decor varies based on your preferences, but here are some average prices for new items:

  • Decorated 9-foot Tree: A fully decorated 9-foot pre-lit tree with new ornaments and decor averages around $3,500.

  • Prelit 9-foot Tree (undecorated): A new, pre-lit 9-foot tree typically costs between $850 and $2,000.

  • Prelit Garlands: A 9-foot pre-lit garland ranges from $135 to $400, depending on whether it's for indoor or outdoor use.

  • Outdoor Archways: A decorated outdoor archway using three 9-foot commercial-grade garlands starts at $2,000and can increase based on the density of the decor.

Q: How long does an installation take? A: A typical "normal-sized" installation (one tree, a stair banister, a couple of mantles) usually takes 3-4 people about 6-7 hours for a new client. Once we've done your installation, subsequent years are much faster!
